"Great customer service"
Their customer service is great! I received a beautiful dark blue Leap V2, but unfortunately one part of the plastic was broken in an un-repairable way. I'm not sure if this was due to shipping or not.
After emailing them, I received a reply within an hour with a couple of options. After a few emails they have a replacement chair in the mail and ready to go!
While I did receive a damaged product, they have made a great attempt to remedy the situation very quickly which I appreciate. Besides the broken part, the chair is actually very beautiful and clean. Looks brand new. If my replacement looks as good as this one, then I'll be absolutely thrilled!

"Warning, they will charge if you cancel"
I placed an order and after they hadn't shipped it for a week, I decided to cancel, and they are charging a 5% cancellation fee.
It doesn't make any sense to me considering they offer free returns, and it certainly doesn't make for a happy customer experience.
I don't know how long the chairs take to get to you because I decided to cancel, but it doesn't tell you until after you order, 10 to 14 business days, and then when I emailed them about it they said please allow at least 14 business days. 14 business days is almost 3 weeks.
So just be aware of that. You because

"Unbelievably poor customer service"
We purchased more than a dozen Herman Miller chairs from this company over the last several months, and all but one were perfect. We sent a picture and video of the defective chair (which was wobbly and squeaked when none of the others did) and requested a replacement. This is the email we received in response:
You are welcome to return the chair but it will be for refund only.
We will be unable to fulfill any future orders as we have confirmed this chair is working correctly.
Returns
Who does that? Need to order more chairs and will purchase them somewhere else.

"Worst Company Ever"
If it were possible to give a negative star rating, Madisonseating would be deserving. They are one of the worst companies I've ever had the misfortune of doing business with. And boy, did they give me the business.
On December 16, 2022 I bought a chair from MadisonSeating.com, based in Brooklyn, via their eBay website.The item was advertised as \\ \"New - Open box." I suspected it was neither "new" nor "open box" when on January 17, 2023 after my purchase -- one day MadisonSeating.com's 30 day return warranty -- the plastic covering on the left armrest split open. I confirmed my suspicions when the replacement armrest arrived and I compared it with armrest on an actual Humanscale Freedom chair I was replacing. The armrests are completely different. It is also unfathomable that a "New - Open box" chair would show damage within a month of arrival.
I researched MadisonSeating.com's business practices and found a variety of complaints and lawsuits that supported my experience.
In short, the chair that MadisonSeating.com sold me is not "New - Open box." I asked them pick up the chair and refund my money. They refused because my refund request was outside their 30 day return period, so I filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the California and New York Attorney General offices. I also filed a complaint with my VISA credit card, which is investing the matter.
Here's what Humanscale told me when I shared my experience with them. "Yes, they are known to be unauthorized resellers and we are working hard to ban them from selling our products. We apologize for the inconveniences you've faced with them and hope that hasn't soured your feelings about our products. We have no way of knowing what they are actually selling. We suspect they are buying them from like jails, prisons, other big agencies that have liquidation sales and reselling them. We also suspect they are getting them same way and frankensteining them. But it's also possible they are remaking our chairs (and others) and putting our stamp on them like our actual chairs - we've both seen fake bags and shoes, I was surprised to learn about furniture!"

"Order cancelled"
Thoroughly disappointed with the customer service with this company. I placed an order, and when they didn't have it in stock, someone reached out to me, asking about a different chair that was in stock. After advising of my preference, I subsequently received a new invoice at a higher cost. I was a little miffed that this wasn't explained to me and reached out for clarification instead of being provided with an explanation, they promptly canceled my order altogether. I then had to submit a whole new order, which was highly inconvenient. I had already placed my order and they should've not canceled what we had in place. I would not recommend a company like this who doesn't have any common courtesy for their customers.

"Madisonseating.com"
We placed an order for eleven Steelcase Leap Chairs and received them just 6 days later! We were simply amazed at the timely fullfillment of our order and the quality of the chairs themselves. Two chairs were damaged during shipping, but Madison Seating came through for us and quickly resolved the issue and sent new chairs. Fantastic customer service! We would highly recommend Madisonseating.com for your office chair needs.
"Excellent customer service; prompt and responsive handling of an item damaged in transit"
I recently purchased office furniture for a law firm, including a Freedom Chair with Headrest by Humanscale. Due to bad weather nationwide, several items from different vendors arrived damaged. The packaging for this chair was, overall, pretty good, and the damage was relatively minor, but still of concern. I sent Madison Seating a photograph of the damage and within 24 hours they offered to send out a new one. And, they promptly followed through. Short review: Great product lineup. Excellent return policies. Low prices. And they're nice. Will definitely be ordering from Madison Seating in the future.

"Horrible Warranty"
I purchased a Herman Miller Aeron office chair from Madison Seating in November of 2022. The hydraulic lift started to malfunction in February of 2023. To get the chair repaired, I am responsible for all shipping which will be $200. If will cost me $200 every time there is an issue even though the chair is under warranty. Ever other company that I have researched covers the cost of shipping. I will never purchase anything from Madison Seating ever again.

"Lier who will use your credit card without approval"
This business is a lier who will use your credit card without approval. I bought a chair on this website and two week later they charge me an extra fee on my credit card without notifying me. I contacted them by email Friday Morning but their customer said they are closed on Friday then refused to reply nor provide a correct explanation.

"Good company, great customer service"
While my initial experience with my product was less than satisfactory, my interactions with the company and it's customer service division was exemplar! They were timely in thier responses and very helpful. I am now very content with my purchase, which is all you really want at the end of the day!

"Knoll Re-Generation"
Received a Knoll Re-Generation chair with a cracked arm. Asked for a replacement part, and they instead offered to send a new chair instead with no need to return the old one. CS was also very responsive.
